Hi everyone…I know it’s been a little while since I have posted anything. I have a few weddings that I would love to share with you all.

I love when the fall comes..it’s so nice to finally see a change in the weather. Fall weddings are my favorite, so much color, drama, textures, and that holiday feel. I guess that’s why almost 16 yrs ago I got married during this season.

I want to extend my congratulations to my  beautiful brides to whom I had the honor of working with on there special day. It is truly a privilege and I thank you for your invitation and hospitality!!

Meghan and her family were so much fun to be with!! It was a great morning and the  perfect way to start an exciting day!

The bride’s dress was absolutley beautiful, it had that old world, vintage, glamorous look. I loved it. Our consultation together proved once again how important it is to come up with a style that will compliment the dress and complete the look all the way around. I can’t wait to see the professional pics and share those too!

How can you describe someone that has so much passion for fashion. I don’t know… I am so that person, but I can’t express how amazing it is to collaborate during her trial with a bride such as Lisa whom shares the same feelings.

This woman is amazing in her own right a designer/artist  herself. But to have been able to work with someone on every detail of there look and how she wanted to give off a certain feel for her style was just refreshing…there are just no words.

All I can say is that it was a creative dream to once again collaborate with a bride and help her achieve that first impression as she walked down the isle. An impression that will last forever.  You can have the most amazing dress, shoes, purse,  and jewelry  but if your hair and makeup are not up to par..then you have just that..a dress & shoes! It all comes together to get that everlasting look!

There’s nothing better for me than to help a women feel beautiful and confident. I love working on Boudoir photo shoots for just this reason. You have your everyday women walk thru the door and you can just see the nervousness in her eyes. With a warm smile and a welcoming hug she feels a little at ease. After chatting for a bit and discussing what we will be doing, I begin the transformation from an everyday lady to a glamour queen.

Of course our beautiful client is still not completely relaxed. This is something that she has not done before. The client still doesn’t realize what she is about to experience during the photo shoot, although it has been discussed in detail by me and my husband, Photographer, Joseph Cristina of Alluremm.com.

I begin by styling her hair. It will be the first of many styles during the session. Then comes the makeup. When I’m done I hand her the mirror….”WOW”…is usually the response.

Once Joseph starts the shoot you can start  see the transformation come together physically and mentally. She “the Client” is having fun and feeling beautiful. When the shoot is done, they are blown away with the whole experience. They can’t believe how they looked or even thought they would have been able to do something such as a Boudoir session.

Meeting with a New Bride for a Hair and Makeup Trial Run
Today was such a fun day with one of my new brides Ashley. It was the first time we got to meet for her trial run, which we arranged to do on the day of her engagement shoot. That works out nice if you can schedule it with your photographer. You’ll look fabulous for your engagement pictures. It’s always nice to meet someone for the first time and discuss what they envision they will look like on the day of there wedding.
People seldom think of this when it comes to hair and makeup. How you look will be the image etched into his and everyone else’s memory as soon as you walk down the isle.
So after talking for a little bit and playing with her hair we came up with three options for Ashley and as well as makeup. She now will have the daunting task of picking one hair style…but I think it will be one of the less stressful things on her to do list!
